How to make the most of your Hair Type!
Have you ever wondered why it is your hair just sometimes does not sit right, or look right or why it is you can get a haircut that you have seen on someone else and it just doesn't look the same on you?
Well it may be because you are not matching your style to your hair type! Here are a few tips to help you figure out what type of hair you have and how to make the most of it!
There are three basic hair types that most people have:
These include: 1. Fine Hair 2. Medium Hair 3. Coarse Hair
Fine Hair About 15% of all women will have fine hair, which is hair that measures 50 microns across. Now, you can hardly be expected to have a device that can measure microns, but think about this: Fine hair is usually soft and shiny, but limp, flat, lifeless, and flat if not properly cared for. The great news is that those with fine hair have the softest, shiniest of all hair types, but the bad news is that they must take extra precaution with their hair to keep it looking its best.
Those with fine hair will find themselves needing to use volumising hair products along with a gentle shampoo and conditioner.
Here’s a tip for you: if you have fine hair, concentrate conditioner use on the ends of the hair instead of the roots and scalp. This will help to add weight to your hair, thus avoiding flyways and frizziness. Coloring and heat styling the hair will help to add volume, as well as those products specifically designed to add volume.
Soft cuts with no blunt lines or "choppiness” in the style will look best for those with fine hair. Long hair and layers in the hair should be avoided in those with fine hair.
Medium Hair The majority of people have medium hair, which measures between 60-90 microns. Medium hair is the most flexible and easy to manage, as it is more voluminous than fine hair, but softer than coarse hair. Those with medium hair are lucky; as this type of hair is easy to manage and will typically hold a style. Just be sure to choose a good shampoo and conditioner and treat your hair right.
Coarse Hair Coarse hair is a bit difficult to work with, as it is wiry, rough, heavy, and wild. Coarse hair measures 100 microns and above. Those with coarse hair need ultra-moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, and should condition often, concentrating on the ends, but definitely not skimping on the entire hair shaft. Those with coarse hair would do best to choose longer hair with a layered cut, and stay away from blunt cuts.
Another thing to consider with hair is thickness. There are basically two hair thicknesses: Thick and Thin.
Easy enough, right?
Thickness of the hair depends on the number of total hairs on the head, as opposed to individual hair thickness. If someone has thick hair, their head will generally have about 150,000 strands of hair. Someone with thin hair, on the other hand, will have more like 90,000 hairs on their head. The average number of hairs is between 100,000-150,000.
Those with thick hair need longer cuts in order to keep from looking bushy. Thin-haired people need shorter hairstyles, but adding highlights can help to add the illusion of thickness.
A great way to add highlights or thickness to your hair is by having hair extensions. 100% natural good quality human hair is certainly the best and will look most natural, last longer, easier to look after and have you looking absolutely fabulous in no time at all!

Which Hairstyle is best for you? Have you ever wanted to change your hairstyle but not willing to take the risk because you are too scared you will end up having a Britney Spears melt down and shaving all your hair off!! We have put together 6 tips to help you decide which hairstyle might be best suited to you before you take to your hair with a razor :)
1. Lifestyle If you are an athletic person, always rushing from school to sports or exercise, then you need an easy-to-upkeep hairstyle that can quickly be thrown into a ponytail if you need. Of course, it should also have the ability to be cute and sexy on the weekends, but easy upkeep should be the first priority. If you are a relatively "inside-type” of person, you can have a hair style that may require a bit more care in the mornings, and one that will hold its looks through an entire day of school, clubs, work, and friends.
2. Face Shape There are a few different face shapes, from oval to square, triangle, diamond, and round. Hairstyles will look different on each face shape, and can either accentuate your favorite features, or the features you don’t like so much. This is a major factor to consider before allowing your hair stylist to grab the scissors and begin chopping. (If you want to know more about this please check out our article The right hairstyle for your face shape.)
3. Hair Type The type of hair you have, whether it is curly, straight, in between, or something else altogether, will affect the haircuts you may be able to try. For example, someone with a mixture of curly and straight hair should stay away from shorter hairstyles.
4. Skin Tone and Eye Colour These are the important factors when changing hair color. A person with olive skin and dark eyes should stay away from the yellows and blondes, which will look quite unnatural and will clash with the skin. Likewise, typically fairer skinned people should avoid very dark hair colors, such as black, which may make them seem "washed out,” unless they pick the right color tones.
5. Body Shape Though, of course, your body is entirely separate from your head and hair, there are some body types that can better "handle” certain hairstyles. For example, a big-boned, tall person should avoid ultra short hairstyles, which are exactly opposite of the body. Rounder body shapes may want to avoid rounder hair cuts, and shorter people may want to stay away from ultra long hair styles.
6. Personality This is perhaps the most influential factor. Personality will pretty much determine what hairstyles will work for you and which will not. The typical, stereotyped "artist” can easily wear a short, funky, colorful hair style and look great, while a more conservative, quiet person may look and feel silly in the same. Personality will help determine the basis of what hairstyle you choose, and luckily it is an easy factor to work with, as you will naturally be drawn to hairstyles that suit your personality.
Hair Tips and Tricks
Stick to our tips and tricks and you will always have beautiful hair….
To stop Frizz – do not keep your towel wrapped around your head for any period of time or while you do your makeup. The cotton roughness forces hair cuticles to open which makes them fly away or frizzy. Instead squeeze out any excess water and then let your hair air-dry for five to ten minutes before blowdrying.. this will help keep you hair under control and looking fabulous x
And remember if you want hair extensions.. make sure you use high quality hair extensions (see humanhairsales.com) as these will ensure the best result and last a lot longer. xx
Demi does Rehab after Breakdown The divorce, trying to look young coupled with the death of her AA sponsor have taken their toll on Demi Moore who had a breakdown and was admitted to rehab last week.
Demi was rushed to hospital on Monday night after friends made a 911 call saying that she had 'smoked something' which had left her semi-conscious and 'burning up'.
Although the substance has not been publicly identified, TMZ claimed that Demi had inhaled nitrous oxide and a new drug called spice at a dinner party at her home.
Demi's breakdown follows an extremely tough few weeks, with her divorce from Ashton Kutcher announced in November, and the death of drugs counselor Pat, 70, shortly afterwards.
A friend told the Daily Mail recently that failure to have a baby with Ashton also contributed to the star's fragile state: "About a year ago, she realized it wasn't going to happen. With her own daughters pretty much grown up, there was this hole in her life and she filled it with chasing her youth.
"She was trying to keep up with Ashton and as great as she looked, she was still at a different point in her life than he was.

The right hairstyle for your face shape:
We all have different shaped faces right.. however have you ever stopped to consider whether your current hairsyle is doing you justice or accentuating a feature that you don't like so much.
We are here to help, in this article we are going to go over the different face shapes, how you can tell what shape you are and what hairstyle suits you face.
Most people will agree that there are four basic face shapes: heart, oval, round, and square. Other people believe that other face shapes exist, such as triangle, oblong, rectangular, and diamond shapes, which are variations of the original four face shapes.
How do you know which face shape you can call your own?
You’ll need to study your face carefully to determine this. Yes, I know, more school stuff, but this will all pay off in the end.
To begin your study of your face, you’ll want to get in front of a big mirror that shows your entire upper body. With your full neck and chest exposed (topless, even, if you feel comfortable with it), and your hair pulled completely back from your face with headbands and hair clips, study your face.
There are some basic questions you will need to ask yourself:
How wide is my forehead when compared to my jaw-line?
Is my jaw-line wider than my forehead?
When looking at myself straight on do I appear to have more space between my eyes than between the outer corner of my eyes and my hairline at the temples?
How prominent and rounded are my cheekbones?
The answers to these questions will help you to determine your face shape.
Also, try this handy trick. While sitting in front of the mirror with your hair pulled back, use a lipstick to draw around your face in the mirror. Move away from the mirror and look at the shape. Choose the shape that matches yours the best.
Heart Face Shape

The heart face shape is characterized by a wider forehead in a face that tapers to the chin. Most women with heart-shaped faces choose hairstyles that include a fringe, along the forehead, as well as a shorter hairstyle ending at or around the chin.
Hair Styles for Heart Faces
• Instead of accentuating your chin, which already tends to draw much of the focus, lead others’ eyes to your cheekbones and eyes with sweeping fringe jaw-length or longer hair.
• Choose a style that will create volume around the bottom of your face.
• Be sure to keep a prominent part in your hair, and consider soft layers ending around your cheekbones to accent that feature.
• If you have short hair keep the top layers soft and long.
• If you have long hair then go for long layers that graze your cheekbones.
• Wavy hair will balance the face and be very pretty on the heart-shaped face if you keep them soft and loose.
• Try your best to avoid hairstyles that are sharp, blunt or choppy layers, especially when it comes to your bangs/fringe and layers.
• Whatever your hair type, don’t have your hair too long. Four inches below your shoulders is plenty.
• If you want fringe, a blunt fringe will work well. Keep it short and wispy, especially if your hair is quite thick.
Heart Face Celebrities: Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Claudia Schiffer, Emmanuaell Beart, Juliette Binoche, Lucy Lawless, Naomi Campbell
Oval Face Shape

The oval face shape is probably the most desired among most women today. There is almost no hairstyle that an oval face will detract from, and in fact, most hair stylists tend to help their clients choose hairstyles that will promote an oval face shape. It is characterized by features that include slightly wider cheekbones and a tapered chin.
Hair Styles for Oval Faces
As said before, oval-faced people tend to be able to wear almost any hairstyle, congratulations to you!
Choose a hairstyle with layers ending either by your eyes, cheeks, or lips-pretty much whichever feature you would like to highlight.
More petite women, however, will want to avoid long hair in the front, as this may make you look like a child. Other than that, though, almost anything goes!
If you have long, thick hair, get it cut so the curls are looser.
For short hair, a messy style is ideal.
For thick hair, go with a sexy short fringe or one that’s long and blunt.
For fine hair, a long wispy fringe will suit you.
Avoid heavy fringe and wearing your hairstyle on your face.
Be sure to avoid outdated haircuts, though. Because you look good in almost anything, keep your hairstyle fresh and you won’t regret it!
Oval Face Celebrities: Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Mariah Carey, Cindy Crawford, Heather Locklear, Sharon Stone, Uma Thurman, Pink, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Courtney Cox Arquette, Elle MacPherson, Tyra Banks.
Round Shape Face

Round faces have wider cheeks and are often softer around the hair and jaw lines. The most common hairstyles on women with round faces include minimal volume on the sides, and maximum volume on the top of the head to add length to the face. Layered hair styles help to achieve this look.
Hair Styles for Round Faces
People with round faces look great with long, straight hair, simply because long hair helps to elongate the face.
For a change from long hair, try layers that start around the jaw line. This will help to take some of the heaviness from the hair, but still keep the length that you need.
At all costs, avoid chin-length bobs, which will enhance the roundness of your face, instead of accentuating your better facial features.
Soft layers, longer hair, wispy ends, and long, side-swept fringe will all help to accentuate your best, while curly or short hair will only accentuate the roundness of your face.
Round Face Celebrities: Ingrid Bergman, Roseanne Barr, Kate Winslet, Natalie Merchant, Drew Barrymore, Christina Ricci, Charlotte Church
Square Face Shape

Square faces are characterized by stronger jaw lines and wide foreheads. If the face is narrow, it will appear more rectangular, and if the face is wide, it will appear more square.
Depending on the width of the face, a hair stylist will choose different options: for more rectangular features, adding curls to the sides will soften the look, while for a more square face, hair stylists typically go with a hair style that adds height to the top, with a slight curl at the ends to soften the jaw line.
Hair Styles for Square Faces
Square faces can easily be soften with some long curls or long, wavy hair. Add in some long, wavy fringe, as long as they are long.
Long, wavy hair is great to add length and volume, creating a soft, sexy look for any occasion.
If you have curly hair, be sure to keep the length long, so that it reaches below your chin. This way, if it scrunches or frizzes, it can still be long enough to soften your features.
Never get a cut that’s above your jaw line as it will exaggerate the squareness of your face shape. Avoid long straight styles that accentuate your square jawbone.
Get some roundness to the hairstyle shape and some height at the crown or fringe. Avoid blunt bangs/fringe and aim for long, sideswept fringe.
Consider layers around the face as it will soften the harsh angles of your jaw, nose and cheeks.
Square Face Celebrities: Kristin Scott Thomas Holly Marie Combs Sandra Bullock Demi Moore Isabella Rosellini
Triangle Face Shapes
Triangle face shapes, also known as the pear shaped face, are composed of smaller foreheads with wider jaw lines. These face shapes can easily handle more voluminous hairstyles, including shorter, layered cuts with lots of curls.
Hair Styles for Triangle Faces
Triangular faces with a wide, dominant jaw, a round chin, wide cheekbones, and narrow foreheads need hair styles that soften the lower portion of the face while adding width to the top.
The classic "shag” look works best for this face shape-loose.
Go for free hair with some layers around the cheeks.
Triangular-shaped people should keep their hair at or above their shoulders to avoid emphasizing their chins. Your hair should be wide and full at the top.
To make your forehead look wider, you can have side-swept fringe with a side part. Avoid growing your hair past your shoulders.
Miscellaneous other Face Shapes
Long Faces
Try to create width on your face. You can do this by choosing a hairstyle with layers or curls; wavy hair would look really good on a person with a long face. You can also try a long loose fringe, and in general, stick with medium length to medium-long length hair.
Oblong Faces
These are faces that could be oval, if it weren’t for the length. People with oblong faces look great with bobs and layers, and any hair cut that does not add length to the face. Short bobs can either be worn with sassy flips and layers or soft curls along the jaw. Just be careful to keep the hairstyle at the appropriate length to avoid adding length to the face. A fringe that ends just above the eyebrows is a great accent to those with oblong faces.
Diamond Faces
Diamond faces with narrow foreheads and chins but wider cheekbones need to add both fullness and width to the top and bottom portions of the face. Shoulder length or longer hair with layers ending around the jaw line will be very attractive on those with diamond faces. Pulling the hair back from the face, or any other hairstyle which does not include a fringe, is not a good option for those with diamond-shaped faces.

How To Remove Your Hair Extensions Safely
After making the decision to get hair extensions and then wearing them for two to four months, it’s going to come time to have them removed and either give your hair a break, or have new ones put in.
Learning the different types of remove methods that are available as well as how to complete this process safely can help to protect your natural hair that so that you don’t see further damage taking place.
Let’s walk you through the main removal methods to keep in mind so that you can get the information that you need to know about completing this process.
Assess The Type Of Hair Extension First you need to consider the type of hair extension that you have in your hair. Since the removal process will vary depending on which extension you have, you need to apply the appropriate technique to the type.
Clip-Ins
If you’ve just put in clip in hair extensions, then the removal process is incredibly easy. You simply undo the clips and remove them from your hair shaft.
Be careful when doing so that you don’t get any of your natural hair tangled into the clip as you pull it free from the head.
Sewn-Ins
If you have sewn in hair extensions on the other hand, you’ll likely need to see a professional to have these removed. Try and see the same person who put in the hair extensions to have them removed as they’ll be most familiar with the stitches that they’ve used and be best able to have them removed for you.
Resin Applied Extensions (Glue Extensions)
If you have extensions that were resin applied, then you should be able to go about the removal process with some care. Resin hair extension removal requires an extension formula (Removal Fluid), so speak to the professional who applied them about this.
There is a much higher chance of hair breakage when removing resin aplied extensions, so you need to be sure that you’re apply the appropriate removal substance. It is preferred that the extensions have been applied to your client 2 weeks or more. Freshly applied extensions are harder to remove.
Spray Removal Fluid liberally onto the bonds of the extensions and use a Closer Tool to remove. The extensions should come loose and you’ll be able to quickly remove them from your hair.
As you go about the removal process, you may want to keep a few other items on hand in case you feel you need them to make the process go smoothly.
First, consider some olive oil which can help make the hair more slippery and lubricated, increasing the ease in which the extension moves off of it.
The next item to consider is a detangling spray, which will help to remove any tangles that occur during the removal process and ensure that you don’t suffer from hair breakage.
Finally, a quality leave in conditioner is also a good product to have on hand for after the removal procedure is completed. This will help ensure that you revive your hair and maintain its’ health after the extension are out.
So make sure you’re well-prepared for the removal process and then be sure to follow these tips. If you do, you should have no problem getting the extensions out with ease.

Washing your hair extensions:
To wash them, make sure that you are using a downwards motion as you massage in the shampoo and conditioner. This will help to prevent knots and tangles, which can be quite difficult to get out of hair extensions.
After the washing is completed, make sure that you pat them dry with a towel, using a squeezing motion rather than a rubbing motion. This again ensures that your extensions remain tangle free.
Make sure you use high quality hair extensions (see humanhairsales.com) as these will ensure the best result and last a lot longer. xx

Your Guide To Going Blonde
If you’re a natural brunette or red head and you find the rich blonde color calling to you, you might be considering transforming your look and wearing that lighter color that brightens up your face and gives you the change you’re craving.
Unfortunately though, going blond can be quite a harsh process for your hair so unless you’re careful in how you go about accomplishing this transformation, you could be in for more damage than you intended.
By following a few quick steps though as you go about changing your look, you can protect your hair as best as possible so that it looks fabulous when you unveil your new color.
Let’s have a look at some of the main things that you should keep in the back of your mind as you make the transition to blonde.
Consider Going Blonde In Transitions
If you’re someone who is very dark brown or is planning on going platinum blond, it would be a good idea to do so in transitions. Going from dark brown to blonde in one step is going to be harsh on the hair regardless of the process you use, so to expect it to stay healthy throughout this would be unrealistic.
By going blonde in transitions, either lightening the whole head to a lighter shade of brown first and then going blonde from there or dying just sections of the hair at a time and then touching up the regrowth while you dye new sections can reduce the harshness of the process.
See A Professional
Another thing to consider when going blonde is seeking out a professional to do this job. While you may be tempted to purchase an at-home hair dye kit and have at it yourself, realize that it’s not nearly as easy to get a rich blonde color as it is when going darker.
Darker hair colors at home tend to work out fairly well but there is a much greater chance of your hair pulling orange or greenish when going blonde.
A hair professional will be able to better assess your current color and determine the best shade of blonde to go.
Purchase A Salon Quality Hair Conditioner
After you have completed the dye process, make sure that you invest in a good salon quality hair conditioner. This will help to revive the look and feel of the hair, making sure it feels healthy and strong.
Avoid drugstore products as often these can contain ingredients that will irritate the scalp or dry out the hair. As your hair has just been through the bleaching process, you want nothing but the best quality treatment for it.
Avoid Styling Tools For At Least One Week
Finally, make sure that you also refrain from using any heated styling tools for at least one week. This will give your hair a chance to absorb the natural oils from the scalp and regain some of its health back.
Let it dry naturally and wear it up in a loose pony tail for the coming week.
So there you have some of the most important things to remember to go blonde safely. If you follow these steps, you can feel confident that you are going to end up looking great with healthy hair.

A Closer Look At The Types Of Hair Extensions And Application Methods
If you’re ready to invest in some hair extensions to transform your look and add the length that you crave, it’s important that you take some time to assess the different options that are available to you. Hair extensions are definitely not a one-size-fits all look and there are a number of different routes you can take.
Let’s provide you with a quick overview of the different types of hair extensions that are available along with the application methods that can be used.
Clip-Ins The very first type of hair extension is the classic clip in extension. These extensions are great when you just want to change your look for an evening and come in a number of different pieces that you easily clip right into your own hair.
They’re available in a number of different lengths, colors, and styles so you can pick and choose your own depending on the exact look that you want to create.
At Hairpower we sell the hair and clips separately so just let us know when ordering that you want clip in and we will help you select the best hair and clips.
Sew-In Extensions The next type of hair extension is a more permanent option and is sewn in extensions. These will last for a number of months and will be sewn right into your own hair so there is very little signs that the extension is in place.
Those women who want their extensions to be real looking and permanent often go this route, but take note that depending on how thick your extensions are, you can sometimes see the thread used to sew them in.
Bonded Extensions Another type of hair extensions to consider is the bonded extension. With this one the hair extension is melted right to your own hair using a glue that holds it in place. This type of extension has a relatively natural look to it, but the drawback is that using a flat iron or curling iron close to the bonds could cause them to melt and the extension to fall out of place.
You’ll have to be extra careful when styling if you have this variety of extensions.
Fusion Extensions Finally, the last type of hair extension that you might consider that is the newest technique on the market is fusion extensions. These are going to utilize a protein bond to fuse your own hair shaft right to the shaft of the extension so there is very little evidence that they’re even there. Instead, you’ll create a very natural look that appears just as your own hair would. This variety of extensions does take the most time to put in, with the process taking two to four hours depending on the stylist and how much hair you have.
So there you have the main types of extensions to consider. Each comes with its own set of pros and cons so by weighing what it is you’re looking for from your extensions you can make the most informed decision of which will be perfect for you.
At humanhairsales.com we can help you select the best type of hair for your hair type and advise you as to what maybe the best application. Please either call or email us if you have any questions regarding hairextensions.

Best Way To Take Care Of Your Hair Extensions
After making the investment in a brand new pair of hair extensions, there’s no question that you’ll be excited to put them to use. You’re thrilled at the new look you’re able to create and are looking forward to wearing them on all your special occasions, if not daily.
But, as you go about using these hair extensions, what should you be doing to preserve their quality? You’ve likely invested a good sum of money to purchase your extensions and now it’s your job to make sure that they last over time.
Let’s go over some of the main things that you need to keep in mind in order to prolong the life of your extensions and keep them looking their absolute best.
Washing Them Properly
The first thing that you need to know is how to wash your extensions properly. Just like your regular hair, your extensions will begin to collect dirt and oil with regular use and a good washing can keep them looking great.
A bad washing process however will only damage the extensions. To wash them, make sure that you are using a downwards motion as you massage in the shampoo and conditioner. This will help to prevent knots and tangles, which can be quite difficult to get out of hair extensions. After the washing is completed, make sure that you pat them drug with a towel, using a squeezing motion rather than a rubbing motion. This again ensures that your extensions remain tangle free.
Care While Styling
Moving on, the next important point to note is how to care for your extensions while styling. Make sure that you’re using either a brush specifically designed for hair extensions or a wider tooth comb or pick to remove any tangles from the extensions and always brush using downwards strokes. Never brush to the side as this can cause extra strain and tension on the hair shaft.
As much as you can, avoid using hair dryers, flat irons, or curling irons on your extensions as well. These are only going to suck the moisture out of the hair and cause them to become brittle and frayed. Try and let your hair extensions dry naturally as often as possible to preserve the look and health of the hair.
If you must use a heated tool on them, make sure to apply a heat protector product just like you would on your regular hair.
Exercising With Extensions
Finally, the last thing to take note of is exercising while wearing hair extensions. Some women who have removable hair extensions will not be exercising while wearing them so this won’t be a concern. But if you are someone who is exercising while wearing the extensions, then you’ll want to make sure that you use a soft elastic band while tying the hair up and avoiding the use of heavy hair sprays or clips that may cause breakage.
A bun works perfectly for when you’re exercising and will keep the air away from your face and tangle free. So there you have a few tips to remember about caring for your hair extensions. Make sure that you put these to good use and your extensions will serve you well for much time to come.

Hair Tips and Tricks
Stick to our tips and tricks and you will always have beautiful hair….
If you normally colour your hair, make sure you colour prior to getting extensions so you can match your extensions to your coloured hair, rather than trying to dye your extensions. No matter what you have heard or what some people may tell you, it is our advice that you should NEVER dye your hair extensions if you want them to last and look fab!

Nail Trends Worth Noting
If you’re constantly staying up on the latest fashion and beauty trends, it’s worth taking note what the hot look is right now for your nails. While your nails may not garner as much attention as a well-played up set of eyes will, they still can’t be left out.
Let’s take a look at what’s hot right now so that you can look your best.
Reverse French Tips
One of the hottest trends right now is to reverse the French tips process and rather than having your darker color up towards the top of the nail, paint the lower quarter of the nail dark while the upper half remains a lighter color.
Mix up your color selection. Light blue with dark blue is a great shade for cooler skin tones while browns and pinks will work great with warmer skin tones.
Nude Nails
While red will forever be a sexy classic color for your nails, nude nails are in right now. Not only does this shade work with almost anything that you choose to wear, but it’s ideal for quick touch ups. The nude shade is hardly noticeable when touched up, so it’s a low maintenance color for those of you who prefer not to be doing your nails twice per week.
Pearly Dots
Sequins have long been making a comeback in nail trends and right now, you can’t beat the look of pearls.
Paint the entire nail one solid color and add small pearly sequins across the bottom of the nail.
Be sure to finish the look with a top coat clear layer to help the sequins stick to the base coat.
Racing Stripes
Racing stripes are another hot trend worth noting. These have been showing up on the runway quite frequently lately and are sure to start making an appearance on the street as well. For the most dramatic effect, choose a darker color and offset it with white or a much lighter shade of the same color. Complimentary colors can work well also, but for an at-work look, go for the toned down shades.
Muted Yellow
If you’re someone who wants to make a statement but not come off too bold, the muted yellow color is the look you’ll want to go after. Often called Chartreus, this color reflects light in a number of different ways so that you’ll give off different looks at once. Straight on it’ll look rather tamed down, but when you catch it as the light glimmers off it, you’ll be a much bolder yellow color.
Fresh, Clean, And Simple
Finally, the last nail trend that’s hot right now is going back to basics with the simple clear manicure. If you’ve been wearing polish for as long as you can remember, now’s a great time to give your nails a bit of a break. Pick up some clear coat and make sure to file them for a smooth around the edges look that’s classy yet care-free at the same time. So don’t overlook the statement you can make with your nails any longer. Any of these looks will quickly draw attention to your tips and round out your style.

Hair Extension’s like the Celebrities – What You Need To Know
If you’ve ever looked on at your favourite celebrity and wished that you could have hair that closely resembled her but feel cursed with thin, fine locks that just won’t seem to grow, the great news is that now you can.
Hair extensions are a very ‘in’ thing in Hollywood right now as they allow actresses to instantly transform their look in a matter of hours.
This also explains how your favourite celeb can go from having that cute, trendy cut to long, luscious layers seemingly instantly like she has some type of magical growth hair.
Let’s walk you through a few quick things to note about celebrity hair extensions.
Consider The Fringe
Look if you’re someone who’s quite happy with your main hairstyle but are just looking for a quick change, adding some fringe extensions might be the perfect thing for you. These easily clip right in and will dramatically transform your look, enhancing your eyes while doing so.
You can get fringes in a variety of different styles so whether you want a straight across style or side sweeping bangs that lightly cover one eye to up your sex appeal, you can find the look right for you.
Make Things Easy With Clip-Ins
One form of hair extensions that do prove to be quite popular are clip-ins. These are often worn by the stars when they’re going out for a night on the town or to a red carpet event to give them the longer look that they desire.
They are a great no-commitment way to lengthen your hair or instantly add more fullness and color if you wish.
Clip in hair extensions are available in a wide range of lengths, colors, and hair textures, so they’re incredibly easy to match with your strands and will blend right in.
Some women will choose to use these on a regular basis while others will only put them in for special occasions. Whatever your preference, clip-ins are definitely a great option for those who want flexibility.
Bonded Hair Extensions
Finally, for those who are looking for a more permanent method to extend their hair so they don’t have to worry about constantly putting the extensions in each day or time they want to wear them, bonded hair extensions will be ideal.
These are glued right to your current strands and will stay in place for months before you have to go to have them removed and replaced.
Those celebrities who want a more full and lengthy look for movie productions will often use this variety of extensions to cut back on day to day styling time.
Bonded extensions are considerably pricier than clip in hair extensions but when done properly by a qualified stylist, will look beautiful with your natural hair. Most people will hardly know that you have extensions in place, so if you want a look that’s easy to conceal, this is definitely the way to go.
So if you’re looking for a quick way to get the look of your favourite celebrity, definitely give some consideration to hair extensions.

Day Makeup Tips and Tricks: Be Gorgeous All-Day Long
When you head off in the morning your makeup of course always looks fresh, but as the day wears on so too does your makeup and often by lunch time you are looking a little worse for wear. Even if you have applied long lasting lippy and mascaras, you are going to probably need some help along the way to ensure a flawless, smudge-proof, long-lasting gorgeous look that will last the whole day long.
Foundation * To make sure that your foundation lasts longer throughout the day, it is important that you apply moisturizer 10 minutes before applying your foundation. This should be enough for the skin to absorb the moisturizer and leave you with perfect skin to start applying your base.
* The next step is to set your foundation with powder. Make sure you always take a powder compact with you when you are out and about.
* Use blotting sheets throughout the day to remove excess oil on the face.
* Always go with foundation that is one shade lighter than your skin and powder that is a little darker. The contrast creates a good and flawless blend on the face.
Eye Make-Up
 * For the eyes, it is best to apply eye shadow primer before applying the eye shadow. This will make the eye shadow last longer on the eyes.
* It is best to use water-proof eye makeup especially with your eyeliners and mascara. Regular mascara has the tendency to smudge which causes raccoon eyes. If you are wearing your mascara for the whole day, water-proof has great staying power.
* When using eyeliner, liquid eyeliner is best. It has 4 times staying power than pencil eyeliner.
 Lips
* The best way to keep your lipstick intact the whole day is to use long-lasting wear lipstick which is very common among makeup brands right now.
* · Don’t forget to apply lip liner as this helps achieve longer coverage and of course helps with the sultry Angelina Jolie look!
Some Things to Remember
If you are in a hurry or want practical ways of speeding up your beauty regime in the mornings here are a few ideas that will have you out the door with time to spare:
1. Use dual-purpose products like lip and cheek tints that can be used as lip gloss and cheek blush. There are also bronzers that can be used as eye shadows.
2. Apply eyeliner and mascara to the top part of your eyes only. Not only does this save you time but it will give you a more natural look too.
3. Lighter colors are easier to work with. They don’t require as much precision with apply compared to darker colours.
4. Use products that can be applied with your fingers. Instead of pulling out all your makeup brushes, using your fingers can save plenty of time.
5. Pick foundation that has a powder finish. This will eliminate the step of applying a finishing powder.
Hope these tips help you to be able to apply your makeup in record time but still look like star all throughout the day xx

Tips How to Prepare and Maintain Your Spray Tan So It Lasts Twice as Long:
Summer is fast approaching and of course the safest way to get a golden glow like the girls of Jersey Shore, is to fake it with a spray tan. However there are a few things you should do to prepare yourself to ensure a more natural looking tan that will last longer than a few days.
1. Exfoliate your skin before going for your spray tanning session. Most tanning salons also offer this service in preparation for the tanning session. Proper exfoliation and hydration of the skin is very important in order to get a more natural perfect tan. Exfoliating the skin will also make the tan last longer and look a lot better. Without exfoliation, dead skin cells also absorb the tanning solution. These tanned dead skin cells naturally slough off from the skin after a few days creating light spots or a lighter shade.
2. Mositurise you ankles, knees and elbows, but nothing else just prior to your spray tan. The tanning solution tends to stick to these areas and can look darker if you don’t put a barrier on to prior to your tan.
3. Don’t apply makeup and other skin products before spray tanning. These products considerably decrease the absorption of the tanning solution.
4. Wear the right clothes after your spray tan session. It is recommended to wear loose clothing after a spray tan session. Also, keep in mind that your clothes might absorb the tanning solution so don’t wear expensive and light-colored clothes.
5. Leave the spray tan on for around 5-6 hours before taking a shower or swimming. However, this depends on the particular product you are using. Make sure to read the instructions carefully or ask your professional tanner how long you should leave the solution on. This will ensure that the tanning solution is fully absorbed into the skin. You should also avoid sweating so physical activities should be limited.
6. To preserve your tan, it is recommended to moisturize your skin properly. Use a natural product that doesn’t have harsh chemicals in order to avoid quick fading of the tan. Keep in mind that chlorine can weaken the tan so keep away from highly chlorinated public pools.
7. When using do-it-yourself spray tans, it is very important to read and follow the instructions carefully. Most of these products are basically the same but the instructions are different. In order to ensure the best results that will last longer, the instructions of a particular product should be followed carefully. If possible, try to consult someone who has extensive experience with a product you’re planning to use.
If you do these 7 steps in preparation for your spray tan you will no doubt have a much better result and feel confidant strutting your stuff in you bikini this summer.

Sexy Smokey Eyes and Nude Lips
There are a lot of different make up trends happening this season from the bright bold making a statement to the more subtle seductive evening look. The problem with the latter is if you get it wrong you run the risk of looking like you’ve been in a boxing match.. and we don’t want that!
So if you would rather look like Kim Kardashain then Mike Tyson here’s some tips to help you achieve the look:
What You’ll Need * Tan or white eye shadow * Dark brown or black eye shadow * Black eyeliner * Black Mascara * Concealer * Face Powder * Nude lipstick and lip gloss
The Eyes
When creating the smokey eye look, you need to pay attention to making your eye look very dramatic. The first thing to do is to apply light eye shadow, either tan or white, in the inner corner of your eyes and lids. On the outer corners and crease of your eye apply the darker browns or black, then with an eye shadow brush, start blending these two shades together.
Line your inner and lower lids with black eye shadow using an angled brush. Then simply curl your eyelashes and apply multiple coats of mascara. Depending on the look you want to achieve, you can apply more black eye shadow for a more dramatic effect or lessen it for a more subtle look.
Make sure you apply concealer under your eyes if you are prone to dark circles otherwise you could end up looking like a panda!
The Lips
Since your eyes are already very dramatic and the focal point of your face, you have to take it down a notch when it comes to your lips. Before applying your nude lipstick and lip gloss, prime your lip area with concealer especially the sides of the lips. Once the area looks clean and clear, you can now apply your nude lipstick and gloss.
You’re now ready to step out in seductive style! Always remember balance is the key when it comes to make up, so if you are going for dramatic eyes keep your lips neutral and visa versa.
